Therapy
At BMIC, we do not provide individual, family, or group therapy. However, we believe that combining psychotropics or nutraceutical supplements with psychotherapy can have several benefits, including enhanced treatment effectiveness. Combining medication and psychotherapy can be more effective than using either treatment alone. Medications can alleviate symptoms, while psychotherapy helps individuals gain insight, develop coping strategies, and make lasting behavioral changes. The combination can address mental health conditions’ biological and psychological aspects, leading to better overall outcomes. The benefits of therapy:
- Explore thoughts, feelings, concerns without judgments
- Develop coping strategies
- Practice self-reflection and awareness
- Work on behaviors and habits you would like to change
- Improve communication with others
